Looking for Tables? |
Mission Style Coffee TableThere are many types of coffee tables that are popular on the market today that have won a special place in our hearts and in our homes. One of the more popular types today is the mission style coffee table. Maybe you don't know what makes these coffee tables so special; maybe you do. I bet you may be scratching your head wondering what I mean by "mission" style. Well, I can almost guarantee that you have seen a couple of these wonderful types of coffee tables before. They are in many homes today; they match almost any décor. A mission style coffee table is a simplistic design for a coffee table. It has a table top, four legs, and a table underneath the table top: this is what makes it a mission style - two table tops, one on top of the other. There are many manufacturers of these beautiful tables and there are many prices that these coffee tables fall into. You can get these at almost any retailer that sells such items; mission style coffee tables are extremely durable. 1. Wal-Mart offers an inexpensive type of mission style coffee tables. These are simplistic and easily assembled. This coffee table is 40 inches long by 20 inches high and 20 inches deep. You get to choose from white, black, and natural. The end pieces have long edges running from top to lower shelf. This beauty is one of the most inexpensive I could find and was only $48 USD. Nothing can beat that for beauty, versatility, and functionality. 2. Another site I found had an Oak Mission Style Coffee Table that was of a fabulous, unusual design. This marvelous coffee table is a light brown oak and offers a rustic flare to any room. The coffee table measures 46 inches long by 14 inches high and 15 inches deep. The lower table and the sides are all slatted and make for a rustically, authentic mission style. I found this at $180 USD and it took my breath away. The design is non-assuming and offers simplistic beauty to any room. 3. Another popular mission style coffee table I found at another site was considered "deluxe" oak finished. This beautiful oak finished mission style coffee table offers a beautiful and unique flare to any room. This coffee table is 50 inches long by 28 inches wide and is 16 inches deep. I saw this and all I could think was "wow". The solid legs have additional décor added and offer extra support for the slatted pieces along the side. I was amazed that this was a modest $222 USD. At that cost, this is a great price for any home or office. As is obvious, mission style coffee tables offer a beauty that is unique to any coffee table. The slatted side offer a unique and beautiful flare to any room regardless of usage. You can get these for relatively modest prices and they are easy to get home in one piece. Nothing is as wonderful for your home as a mission style coffee table. |
